Alex Gemmell
Alex studied law at the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. He joined Leech & Co as trainee solicitor in 2003 and was made an Associate in May 2007 running a busy personal injury caseload while managing a team of personal injury experts.
Alex is season ticket holder at Sale Sharks and enjoys most sports including football, cricket and golf.
Alex Mather
Alex joined Leech & Co in 1998 after graduating in Law at Wolverhampton University. She completed her training at another Manchester firm before returning to the firm in 2004. Alex specialises in personal injury law and runs a team of personal injury specialists as well as handling her own personal injury caseload. She enjoys playing the piano and violin as well as keeping fit and canoeing.
Richard Whitehead

Richard gained his Law degree at Huddersfield University completed the Legal Practice Course Metropolitan Manchester University. He began his legal career with a Manchester firm with a tradition of Trade Union backed work and secured a training contract with solicitors in his native Bolton, where, for the following 3 years he developed his knowledge of a wide range of areas of law most notably Public Liability, Employer's Liability, Occupier's Liability, Credit Hire Law & Motor
Richard then joined Leech & Co in 2002 and was made an associate of the firm in May 2007. He manages his own team of personal injury specialists and being an IT enthusiast he has been at the forefront of ensuring the effectiveness of the document imaging system of which he has day-to-day control.
For recreation Richard plays 5-a-side football every week, holds a season ticket at Bolton Wanderers and in particular enjoys motor sports, winter sports and snow-boarding. Richard also enjoys stand up comedy & live bands.
Katherine Williams
Katy has a wealth of experience having been a solicitor since 1991. She joined Leech & Co in March 2002 and was made an Associate in 2006, specialising in high value personal injury claims.
Outside work she enjoys all aspects of keeping fit, running, walking and the theatre.
