To mark the landmark 50th Birthday of Emma Leech the partners invited the staff and a few of Emma's friends to a soiree at the Lord Mayor’s Parlour in Manchester Town Hall.
The waiting staff kept the guests topped up with champagne and wine all evening and the canapés were delicious (the miniature Yorkshire puddings being a particular highlight).
The staff had made a collection for Emma and she was presented with a Hermes scarf, a watercolour of a scene near her home and an enormous cake! Unfortunately we could not secure a performance by Emma’s teenage idol Donny Osmond.
Emma was especially pleased that her Dad had travelled from London, and Rhiannon
Rees from the Bath office for the occasion and thanked everyone with a short
speech following Peter Hartley’s own words of thanks towards the end of
the evening. The birthday cake was devoured by the Leech & Co staff in the
next week
